parentingwithpoetry: I often write “to do’s” on a dry erase board to help with focus and motivation. 5 y.o. likes to add pictures, so I leave a little space. (Left to her own devices, she will take over the entire board!)  She also likes to draw on empty cereal/ oatmeal boxes. I’ll pull the box open (they are usually blank on the inside, but not always) and she has a different kind of surface to draw on, cut, etc.
